Role Summary

Neuroscience District Sales Manager (Psychiatry) - PA-NJ District

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of specialty sales representatives in the psychiatry/CNS space within the PA-NJ district.
  • Recruit, retain, and build high-performing teams; coach and mentor staff to achieve sales and leadership objectives.
  • Manage field activities, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure strong execution of district sales plans.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree; Advanced degree a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceuticals industry with 4 years of Sales Management preferred.
  • Note: Candidates with fewer than 3 years of leadership experience may be considered for the Associate DSM position.
  • Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS, psychiatry, schizophrenia, bipolar or depression; other specialty experience will be considered.
  • Required: Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain and develop high performing team of specialty sales representatives.
  • Required: Documented high performance of sales and leadership track record.
  • Required: Driverβ€šΓ„Γ΄s license and clean driving history.
  • Required: Ability to secure and maintain credentialing requirements of healthcare providers, facilities, and government entities.
  • Required: Ability to build and sustain positive relationships; strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
  • Required: Demonstrate strong analytical and business acumen.
  • Required: Must reside near a major airport within the district.
  • Required: Ability to travel up to 75%.

  • Clinical, patient-centric mindset with tactical sales and strong communication (interpersonal, verbal, written).
  • Independent worker with sound decision-making; strong work ethic.

  • Ability to read situations quickly and navigate obstacles.
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree; Advanced degree a plus.
