Role Summary

Neuroscience District Sales Manager (Psychiatry) - PA-NJ District

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing specialty sales team focused on CNS/psychiatry products.
  • Recruit, retain, and coach specialty sales representatives; provide mentorship and strategic direction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute district sales strategies and achieve above-average results.
  • Navigate credentialing requirements for healthcare providers and facilities; maintain positive relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Utilize strong analytical and business acumen to drive territory performance; manage multiple priorities with effective organization.
  • Travel up to 75% as required to cover the PA-NJ district.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree; Advanced degree a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with 4 years of Sales Management preferred.
  • Preferred: CNS, psychiatry, schizophrenia, bipolar or depression specialty experience; other specialty experience considered.
  • Required: Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain and develop high performing specialty sales teams; documented high performance in sales and leadership.
  • Required: Valid driverβ€šΓ„Γ΄s license and clean driving history; ability to secure and maintain credentialing requirements for providers and facilities.
  • Required: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills; ability to build and sustain positive relationships; analytical and business acumen.
  • Required: Must reside near a major airport within the district; ability to work in an innovative environment; experience in small company/start-up environments.

  • Clinical, patient-centric, and tactical mindset with strong communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, written).
  • Strong work ethic; self-motivated; ability to work independently and make sound decisions.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree; Advanced degree a plus.
