Role Summary

Neuroscience District Sales Manager (Psychiatry) - PA-NJ District

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead a district-level sales strategy for neuroscience/psychiatry products.
  • Recruit, retain, and develop high-performing team of specialty sales representatives; coach and mentor staff.
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with healthcare providers, facilities, and key stakeholders; demonstrate strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and business acumen; manage multiple priorities and adapt in an innovative work environment.
  • Travel up to 75% to cover the district and ensure field presence and execution of plans.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree; advanced degree a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceuticals industry with 4 years of Sales Management experience preferred.
  • Preferred: CNS/psychiatry/schizophrenia/bipolar/depression specialty experience; other specialty experience considered.
  • Required: Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain and develop a high-performing team; documented high performance of sales and leadership track record.
  • Required: Driver’s license and clean driving history.
  • Required: Ability to secure and maintain industry-standard credentialing requirements of healthcare providers, facilities, and government entities.
  • Required: Ability to build and sustain positive relationships; strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills; strong analytical and business acumen.
  • Required: Must reside near a major airport within the district.
  • Required: Ability to perform essential functions with reasonable accommodations; travel readiness for district responsibilities.

Skills

  • Excellent people management/supervisory skills; ability to develop and coach specialty sales representatives and lead the team.
  • Highly clinical, patient-centric and tactical with excellent communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, written).
  • Strong work ethic; self-motivated and able to work independently; sound decision-making.
  • Dynamic, high-impact individual with effective selling and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities; quick situational assessment and roadblock navigation.
  • Technical aptitude; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree; advanced degree a plus.
