Role Summary
Neuroscience District Sales Manager (Psychiatry) for the NY-NJ District.
Responsibilities
Lead and develop a high-performing specialty sales team in the neuroscience/psychiatry space.
Recruit, retain, and coach specialized sales representatives; provide direction and mentorship to drive results.
Manage district sales activities, ensure achievement of sales goals, and implement strategic plans aligned with company objectives.
Build and sustain positive relationships with healthcare providers and customer facilities; secure necessary credentialing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize market approach and territory strategy.
Travel up to 75% to cover the district effectively.
Qualifications
Required: Bachelor's Degree; Advanced degree a plus.
Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with 4 years of Sales Management preferred.
Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS, psychiatry, schizophrenia, bipolar or depression; other specialty experience considered.
Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing team of specialty sales representatives.
Documented high performance in sales and leadership roles.
Driverβs license and clean driving history.
Ability to secure and maintain credentialing requirements of healthcare providers, customer facilities, and state/local governments.
Ability to build and sustain positive relationships; strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
Strong analytical skills and business acumen; ability to read situations quickly and adjust for roadblocks.
Must reside near a major airport within the district.
Experience in small company and start-up environments; ability to adapt in an innovative work environment.
Working proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Excellent people management and supervisory skills; ability to develop and coach specialty sales representatives.
Clinical, patient-centric, and tactical mindset with excellent communication skills.

Excellent organizational and multi-priority management skills.
Education
Bachelor's Degree; Advanced degree a plus.
