Role Summary
Neuroscience District Sales Manager (Psychiatry) - NY-NJ District
Responsibilities
Lead and manage a specialty sales team focused on neuroscience/psychiatry products within the NY-NJ district.
Recruit, retain, and develop high-performing team members; coach and mentor sales representatives.
Develop and execute district sales strategies to achieve above-average results; drive goals and performance.
Coordinate with healthcare providers and customer facilities to secure necessary credentialing and maintain strong relationships.
Utilize strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to influence stakeholders and drive performance.
Analyze market dynamics and business data to inform planning and decision-making.
Navigate operating in an innovative, dynamic startup-like environment; adapt to changing needs.
Qualifications
Required: Bachelor's Degree; advanced degree a plus.
Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with 4 years of Sales Management preferred.
Preferred: CNS/psychiatry/schizophrenia/bipolar/depression specialty experience; other specialty experience considered.
Required: Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain and develop high-performing specialty sales teams; documented high performance in sales and leadership roles.
Required: DriverβΓΓ΄s license and clean driving history; ability to travel up to 75%.
Required: Ability to secure and maintain credentialing for healthcare providers, customer facilities, and state/local governments.
Required: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills; ability to build and sustain positive relationships.
Required: Strong analytical and business acumen; ability to work in a flexible, innovative environment.
Preferred: Experience in small company and start-up work environments.
