Role Summary

Neuroscience District Sales Manager (Psychiatry) - NY-NJ District

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a specialty sales team focused on neuroscience/psychiatry products within the NY-NJ district.
  • Recruit, retain, and develop high-performing team members; coach and mentor sales representatives.
  • Develop and execute district sales strategies to achieve above-average results; drive goals and performance.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers and customer facilities to secure necessary credentialing and maintain strong relationships.
  • Utilize strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to influence stakeholders and drive performance.
  • Analyze market dynamics and business data to inform planning and decision-making.
  • Navigate operating in an innovative, dynamic startup-like environment; adapt to changing needs.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree; advanced degree a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with 4 years of Sales Management preferred.
  • Preferred: CNS/psychiatry/schizophrenia/bipolar/depression specialty experience; other specialty experience considered.
  • Required: Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain and develop high-performing specialty sales teams; documented high performance in sales and leadership roles.
  • Required: Driverβ€šΓ„Γ΄s license and clean driving history; ability to travel up to 75%.
  • Required: Ability to secure and maintain credentialing for healthcare providers, customer facilities, and state/local governments.
  • Required: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills; ability to build and sustain positive relationships.
  • Required: Strong analytical and business acumen; ability to work in a flexible, innovative environment.
  • Preferred: Experience in small company and start-up work environments.

Education

Additional Requirements

  • Must reside near a major airport within the district.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.
