Role Summary

Neuroscience District Sales Manager (Psychiatry) - Mid-Atlantic District

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a specialty sales team focused on neuroscience/psychiatry products within the Mid-Atlantic district.
  • Recruit, retain, and develop high-performing team of specialty sales representatives.
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with healthcare providers, facilities, and stakeholders; secure and maintain credentialing as required.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and business acumen; drive goals and results; coach and mentor team members.
  • Communicate effectively; manage multiple priorities; operate with clinical, patient-centric focus.
  • Travel up to 75% as needed.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree; advanced degree a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceuticals industry with 4 years of sales management experience; leadership experience or potential for Associate DSM consideration.
  • Preferred: CNS/psychiatry specialty experience (schizophrenia, bipolar, depression, etc.).
  • Required: Valid driver’s license and clean driving history.
  • Required: Ability to secure/maintain credentialing with healthcare providers and facilities; strong relationship-building skills.
  • Required: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication; strong analytical and business acumen.
  • Required: Residence near a major airport within the district and ability to work in an innovative environment; experience in small company/start-up settings.

Skills

  • Leadership and people management; ability to develop and coach specialty sales representatives.
  • Clinical, patient-centric, and tactical selling; strong presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degree a plus.

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 75%.
