Neuroscience District Sales Manager (Psychiatry) - Gulf Coast District
Responsibilities
Drive sales performance and achieve above-average results within the psychiatry/pharmaceuticals portfolio.
Recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing team of specialty sales representatives; provide coaching and mentorship.
Lead and manage the district sales team, coordinating with cross-functional partners to execute strategic plans.
Build and sustain positive relationships with healthcare providers, facilities, and stakeholders; maintain industry-standard credentialing requirements.
Demonstrate strong analytical and business acumen; effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
Operate effectively in an innovative work environment; adapt to changes and manage multiple priorities.
Travel up to 75% as required to cover district responsibilities.
Qualifications
Required: Bachelor's Degree; Advanced degree a plus.
Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with 4 years of Sales Management preferred.
Note: Candidates with fewer than 3 years of leadership experience may be considered for the Associate DSM position.
Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS, psychiatry, schizophrenia, bipolar or depression; other specialty experience will be considered.
Required: Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain and develop a high performing team of specialty sales representatives.
Required: Documented high performance of sales and leadership track record.
Required: Driverβs license and clean driving history.
Required: Ability to secure and maintain credentialing requirements of healthcare providers and facilities; ability to comply with state/local government requirements.
Required: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills; ability to build and sustain positive relationships.
Required: Strong analytical and business acumen; ability to read situations quickly and adjust for roadblocks.
Required: Experience in small company and startup work environments.
Required: Must reside near a major airport within the district.

Additional Requirements
Must possess and maintain a valid driverβs license and an acceptable driving record; able to operate a motor vehicle for local, regional, and occasional overnight travel.
May occasionally require lifting and/or moving items up to 15 pounds.
