Neuroscience District Sales Manager (Psychiatry) - Cincinnati District
Responsibilities
Lead and manage a district team of specialty sales representatives in neuroscience/psychiatry.
Recruit, retain, and develop high-performing sales talent; coach and mentor staff.
Build and sustain positive relationships with healthcare providers and customer facilities; ensure credentialing requirements are secured and maintained.
Demonstrate strong analytical and business acumen; translate clinical insights into actionable sales strategies.
Travel up to 75% to cover the district and meet performance goals.
Maintain effectiveness and flexibility in an innovative work environment; operate in small company/start-up contexts as needed.
Qualifications
Required: Bachelor’s Degree; advanced degree a plus.
Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with 4 years of sales management preferred.
Note: Candidates with fewer than 3 years of leadership experience may be considered for the Associate DSM position.
Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS, psychiatry, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or related areas.
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving history.
Ability to secure and maintain credentialing requirements for healthcare providers, facilities, and governmental entities.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to build and sustain positive relationships.
Demonstrated track record of sales and leadership performance; able to recruit and develop a high-performing team.
Strong analytical, business, and presentation skills; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Must reside near a major airport within the district.
