Role Summary

Neuroscience District Sales Manager (Psychiatry) - Cincinnati District

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a district team of specialty sales representatives in CNS/psychiatry sectors.
  • Recruit, retain, and grow high-performing sales talent; coach and mentor team members.
  • Build positive relationships with healthcare providers, customer facilities, and key stakeholders; maintain credentialing requirements as needed.
  • Drive sales performance and achieve district objectives through strategic planning and execution.
  • Travel up to 75% to support field activities and district coverage.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree; advanced degree a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceuticals industry with 4 years of Sales Management preferred.
  • Note: Candidates with fewer than 3 years of leadership experience may be considered for the Associate DSM position.
  • Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS, psychiatry, schizophrenia, bipolar or depression; other specialty experience will be considered.
  • Required: Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain and develop high performing specialty sales teams; documented high performance in sales and leadership.
  • Required: Driverβ€šΓ„Γ΄s license and clean driving history; ability to secure and maintain credentialing requirements; strong relationship-building skills.
  • Required: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication; strong analytical and business acumen.
  • Required: Must reside near a major airport within the district; ability to thrive in an innovative work environment.
  • Required: Experience in small company and startup environments; ability to travel up to 75%.

  • Goal- and results-driven with a proven track record of above-average results.
  • People management and coaching capability for specialty sales representatives; ability to lead and mentor teams.
  • Clinical, patient-centric, and tactical with strong communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, written).
  • Independent worker with strong work ethic; able to make sound decisions.
  • Effective selling and presentation skills; strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to read situations quickly and navigate roadblocks; technical aptitude with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree; Advanced degree a plus.
