Role Summary

Neuroscience District Sales Manager (Psychiatry) - Cincinnati District

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of specialty sales representatives in the neuroscience/psychiatry space.
  • Recruit, retain, and coach sales professionals; mentor the district to achieve above-average results.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with healthcare providers, facilities, and stakeholders; ensure credentialing requirements are met.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, business acumen, and tactical selling in a clinical, patient-centric environment.
  • Navigate innovative work environments and adapt to changing circumstances; manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Travel up to 75% as required to cover the Cincinnati district.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree; Advanced degree a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with 4 years of Sales Management preferred.
  • Note: Candidates with fewer than 3 years of leadership experience may be considered for the Associate DSM position.
  • Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS, psychiatry, schizophrenia, bipolar or depression; other specialty experience considered.
  • Proven ability to recruit, retain, and develop high-performing teams; documented high performance in sales and leadership.
  • Valid driverβ€šΓ„Γ΄s license and clean driving history; ability to secure and maintain credentialing requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to build and sustain positive relationships.
  • Strong analytical and business acumen; comfortable with technology (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Must reside near a major airport within the district.
  • Ability to maintain effectiveness and flexibility in an innovative work environment; experience in small company/start-up environments.

Education
