Role Summary
Neuroscience District Sales Manager (Psychiatry) - Cincinnati District
Responsibilities
Lead and manage a specialty sales team within the psychiatry/CNS space.
Recruit, retain, and develop high-performing district-level sales representatives.
Build and sustain positive relationships with healthcare providers and facilities; drive compliant credentialing as required.
Analyze performance data, adjust strategies, and drive above-average results through effective coaching and territory management.
Communicate clinical and product information clearly to internal teams and customers; maintain strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
Travel up to 75% as operationally required.
Qualifications
Required: Bachelor's Degree; advanced degree a plus.
10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with 4 years of sales management preferred.
Leadership experience; candidates with fewer than 3 years may be considered for an Associate DSM position.
Specialty experience preferred: CNS, psychiatry, schizophrenia, bipolar or depression; other specialty experience will be considered.
Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain and develop a high-performing team of specialty sales representatives.
Documented high performance of sales and leadership track record.
Driverβs license and clean driving history.
Ability to secure and maintain industry-standard credentialing requirements of healthcare providers, facilities, and government entities.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills; excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Strong analytical and business acumen; ability to read situations quickly and adjust for roadblocks.
Must reside near a major airport within the district; ability to operate in an innovative work environment.
Experience in small company and startup environments.
Ability to travel up to 75%.
