Role Summary

Neuroscience District Sales Manager (Psychiatry) โ€šร„รฌ Carolinas District. Lead and develop a specialty sales team in the neuroscience/psychiatry space, driving performance, relationships with healthcare providers, and strategic execution across the district.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing team of specialty sales representatives.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor the district sales team to achieve above-average results.
  • Implement sales strategies and tactical plans to drive clinical and business outcomes.
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with healthcare providers, facilities, and key stakeholders.
  • Maintain effectiveness and flexibility in an innovative work environment; adapt to roadblocks and changing market conditions.
  • Travel up to 75% as required to support district operations.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and business acumen; utilize data to guide decisions.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelorโ€šร„รดs Degree; advanced degree a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with in-depth sales experience; 4 years of Sales Management preferred.
  • Note: Candidates with fewer than 3 years of leadership experience may be considered for the Associate DSM position.
  • Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS, psychiatry, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or related areas.
  • Proven ability to recruit, retain, and develop high-performing specialty sales teams; documented sales and leadership performance.
  • Valid driverโ€šร„รดs license and clean driving history; ability to secure credentialing for healthcare providers and facilities as required.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and business acumen.
  • Must reside near a major airport within the district.
  • Experience in small company or startup environments is a plus.
