Neuroscience District Sales Manager (Psychiatry) - Carolinas District.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage a district team of specialty sales representatives, focusing on CNS, psychiatry, schizophrenia, bipolar and depression therapies.
Recruit, retain, and develop high-performing sales talent; coach and mentor team members to achieve above-average results.
Develop and execute district business plans to meet or exceed sales targets; demonstrate strong analytical and business acumen.
Build and sustain positive relationships with healthcare providers, facilities, and state/local governments; secure and maintain credentialing requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure clinical, patient-centric execution and effective communication within the district.
Travel up to 75% as required to cover the district and engage with customers and team members.
Qualifications
Required: Bachelor's Degree; Advanced degree a plus.
Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceuticals industry with 4 years of Sales Management preferred.
Note: Candidates with fewer than 3 years of leadership experience may be considered for the Associate DSM position.
Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS, psychiatry, schizophrenia, bipolar or depression; other specialty experience will be considered.
Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain and develop a high-performing team of specialty sales representatives; documented high performance in sales and leadership.
Driverβs license with clean driving history; ability to secure and maintain credentialing requirements.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills; ability to build and sustain positive relationships.
Strong analytical and business acumen; highly clinical, patient-centric and tactical with excellent communication skills.
Must reside near a major airport within the district; ability to work in an innovative environment and adapt to change.
Experience in small company and startup environments; ability to travel up to 75%.
