Role Summary

Neuroscience District Sales Manager (Psychiatry) - Carolinas District

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a high-performing district team of specialty sales representatives in CNS/psychiatry.
  • Recruit, retain, and coach sales personnel; lead and mentor the team to achieve above-average results.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive district strategies, execution, and performance metrics.
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with healthcare providers, facilities, and key accounts; ensure credentialing requirements are met.
  • Utilize strong analytical and business acumen to inform planning and decision-making.
  • Travel up to 75% as required to support district activities and field leadership.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree; Advanced degree a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceuticals industry with 4 years of Sales Management preferred.
  • Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS, psychiatry, schizophrenia, bipolar or depression.
  • Required: Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain and develop high-performing specialty sales teams.
  • Required: Documented high performance of sales and leadership track record.
  • Required: Driverβ€šΓ„Γ΄s license and clean driving history.
  • Required: Ability to secure and maintain credentialing requirements of healthcare providers, facilities, and government entities.
  • Required: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills; excellent communication.
  • Required: Ability to build and sustain positive relationships; strong analytical and business acumen.
  • Required: Must reside near a major airport within the district.
  • Required: Experience in small company and start-up environments.

Skills

  • Excellent people management and supervisory capabilities; ability to develop and coach specialty sales representatives.
  • Clinical, patient-centric, and tactical with strong communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, written).
  • Self-motivated, independent, and capable of making sound decisions; dynamic with strong selling/presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly.
  • Technical aptitude with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree; Advanced degree a plus.
