Neuroscience District Sales Manager (Psychiatry) - Carolinas District
Responsibilities
Lead and develop a high-performing specialty sales team in the neuroscience/psychiatry space.
Recruit, retain, and coach specialty sales representatives; provide strategic direction and mentorship.
Build and sustain positive relationships with healthcare providers, facilities, and stakeholders; ensure credentialing requirements are met.
Analyze market dynamics and drive business results; demonstrate strong analytical and business acumen.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve district objectives and navigate innovative work environments.
Qualifications
Required: Bachelorโs Degree; Advanced degree a plus.
Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceuticals industry with 4 years of Sales Management preferred.
Note: Candidates with fewer than 3 years of leadership experience may be considered for the Associate DSM position.
Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS, psychiatry, schizophrenia, bipolar or depression; other specialty experience considered.
Required: Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing team of specialty sales representatives.
Required: Documented high performance of sales and leadership track record.
Required: Driverโs license and clean driving history.
Required: Ability to secure and maintain reasonable industry-standard credentialing for healthcare providers, customer facilities, and government bodies.
Required: Ability to build and sustain positive relationships; strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
Required: Demonstrate strong analytical and business acumen.
Required: Must reside near a major airport within the district; willingness to travel up to 75%.
Required: Ability to maintain effectiveness and flexibility in an innovative work environment; experience in small company/start-up settings.
