      Role Summary
Neuroscience Account Manager (Psychiatry) β West Palm / Ft. Lauderdale. Join an innovative and dynamic sales organization to deliver real value to customers through differentiated products and services and to exceed established sales goals. The role reports to the Neuroscience District Sales Manager and focuses on executing and promoting products in the assigned territory, collaborating with district leadership, and expanding market access within the psychiatric specialty.
Responsibilities
- Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
- Collaborate with the District Sales Manager to respond to day-to-day sales and strategy direction related to product promotion activities.
- Analyze the local market, develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize the appropriate use of the product in the defined territory.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge about the product, disease area, competitors, and market reimbursement.
- Determine, implement, and monitor optimal resource allocation within the territory (budgets, time, etc.).
- Communicate effectively using advanced selling and negotiation skills to identified target audiences.
- Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
- Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
- Manage travel and promotional budget.
- Fulfill monitoring and reporting requirements including expenses and call reporting using approved systems and processes.
- Maintain full compliance with all laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Meet and comply with reasonable industry-standard credentialing requirements of healthcare providers, customer facilities, and state/local governments.
- Complete additional ad hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Preferred: Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
- Preferred: Candidates not meeting the work experience requirements may be considered for the βAssociateβ role.
- Preferred: Atypical anti-psychotic experience and/or orphan drug experience.
- Preferred: Specialty experience in psychiatry, bipolar, depression, CNS or pain management.
- Preferred: Reimbursement experience.
- Preferred: Existing relationships (or those within 24 months) with psychiatrists and/or Community Mental Health Centers in the assigned territory.
- Required: Valid driverβs license and a clean driving history.
- Required: Self-starter, goal- and results-driven β proven track record of above-average results.
- Required: Fortitude to sell and compete and driven with a hunter mentality.
- Preferred: Strong relationships and knowledge of the territory.
- Required: Ability to travel (may include overnights).
- Other: Out-of-territory travel to HQs, training, and sales meetings may be required.
- Other: Work hours may include meetings scheduled outside of normal working hours.
- Required: Must reside within the territory geography.

Education
- BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0.
