Neuroscience Account Manager (Psychiatry) - Tacoma, WA

Role: Neuroscience Account Manager responsible for promoting Vanda's psychiatric and CNS therapies, exceeding sales targets, and delivering value to healthcare providers. Responsibilities include executing sales strategies, analyzing local market dynamics, developing customer relationships, securing product access and reimbursement, and maintaining comprehensive product and disease knowledge. The position involves collaboration with the District Sales Manager, managing budgets and compliance, and potentially engaging in out-of-territory travel. Requirements: BS/BA with >3.0 GPA, 3+ years pharmaceutical sales experience preferred, with a focus on psychiatry, bipolar, depression, or CNS disorders; experience with atypical antipsychotics, orphan drugs, or reimbursement is advantageous. Candidate must have existing or recent relationships with mental health providers or community centers, a valid driver’s license, and ability to travel. Skills include strong communication, negotiation, organizational, and customer relationship management, with a goal-oriented, self-motivated mindset. Competencies include clinical knowledge, complex market navigation, and excellent presentation skills. The role may require occasional outside-of-hours meetings and overnight travel.
