Primary Responsibilities
- Execute and promote products in alignment with sales strategy in the assigned territory.
- Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and product promotion activities.
- Analyze local market; develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize product use.
- Maintain current knowledge of product, disease, competition, and reimbursement.
- Determine, implement, and monitor resource allocation (budgets, time, etc.).
- Use advanced selling and negotiation skills to communicate effectively with target audiences.
- Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
- Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
- Manage travel and promotional budget.
- Complete required monitoring and reporting (expenses, call reporting) using approved systems.
- Maintain compliance with all laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Meet credentialing requirements for healthcare providers/customer facilities/state/local governments.
- Additional ad-hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements
- BS or BA with GPA > 3.0.
- Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical sales experience preferred (otherwise may be considered for β€œAssociate”).
- Atypical antipsychotic and/or orphan drug experience preferred.
- Preferred: psychiatry/bipolar/depression/CNS or pain management specialty experience.
- Reimbursement experience preferred.
- Existing relationships (or within 24 months) with psychiatrists and/or Community Mental Health Centers in territory preferred.
- Valid driver’s license; clean driving history.
- Must reside within territory geography; ability to travel (including overnights) and attend out-of-territory HQ/training/sales meetings.
