Role Summary

Neuroscience Account Manager (Psychiatry) - Hudson River Valley. Role focused on exceeding sales goals by delivering value to customers through differentiated products and services within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and strategy direction related to product promotion activities.
  • Analyze local market, develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize appropriate product use in the territory.
  • Maintain current knowledge of product, disease, competitive landscape, and market reimbursement.
  • Determine, implement, and monitor resource allocation (budgets, time, etc.) within the territory.
  • Communicate effectively using advanced selling and negotiation skills to identified target audiences.
  • Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
  • Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
  • Manage travel and promotional budget.
  • Fulfill monitoring and reporting requirements including expenses and call reporting using approved systems.
  • Maintain compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies; adhere to credentialing requirements as applicable.
  • Perform ad-hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • BS or BA with GPA > 3.0.
  • Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience preferred; consideration for Associate role if not meeting experience.
  • Atypical antipsychotic experience and/or orphan drug experience preferred.
  • Preferred specialty experience in psychiatry, bipolar, depression, CNS, or pain management.
  • Reimbursement experience preferred.
  • Existing relationships with psychiatrists and/or Community Mental Health Centers in the territory preferred.
  • Valid driverβ€šΓ„Γ΄s license and clean driving history.
  • Self-starter with goal and results-driven mindset; hunter mentality.
  • Strong relationships and knowledge of the territory preferred.
  • Ability to travel (including overnights); may require out-of-territory travel to HQs and meetings.
  • Work hours may include meetings outside normal hours.
  • Must reside within territory geography.

Education

  • BS or BA degree.
