Role Summary
Neuroscience Account Manager (Psychiatry) in Harrisburg, PA. Exceeds goals by delivering value to customers through differentiated products and services within neuroscience sales.
Responsibilities
- Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
- Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and strategy direction related to product promotion activities.
- Analyze local market, develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize product use in the territory.
- Maintain current knowledge of product, disease, competitive landscape, and market reimbursement.
- Determine, implement, and monitor optimal resource allocation within the territory.
- Communicate effectively using advanced selling and negotiation skills to identified target audiences.
- Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
- Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
- Manage travel and promotional budget.
- Fulfill monitoring and reporting requirements including expenses and call reporting using approved systems and processes.
- Maintain compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Meet credentialing requirements of healthcare providers, facilities, and government regulations.
- Contribute to ad-hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications
- BS or BA with GPA > 3.0
- Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience preferred
- Associate role considered for candidates not meeting experience requirements
- Atypical antipsychotic experience and/or orphan drug experience preferred
- Preferred specialty experience in psychiatry, bipolar, depression, CNS or pain management
- Reimbursement experience preferred
- Existing relationships with psychiatrists and/or Community Mental Health Centers preferred
- Valid driverβs license and clean driving history
- Self-starter with goal- and results-driven mindset
- Fortitude to sell and compete with hunter mentality
- Strong territory knowledge and relationships preferred
- Ability to travel (including overnights); some travel to HQs, training, and meetings may be required
- Work hours may include meetings outside normal hours
- Residence within territory geography
