Role Summary

Neuroscience Account Manager (Psychiatry) in Fort Worth, TX. Focused on delivering value to customers through differentiated products and services, in alignment with sales strategy and within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with the District Sales Manager to respond to day-to-day sales and strategy direction related to product promotion activities.
  • Analyze local market, develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize appropriate use of the product in defined territory.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product, disease, competitive landscape, and market reimbursement.
  • Determine, implement, and monitor optimal resource allocation (budgets, time, etc.) within the territory.
  • Communicate effectively using advanced selling and negotiation skills to identified target audiences.
  • Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
  • Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
  • Manage travel and promotional budget.
  • Fulfill monitoring and reporting requirements including expenses and call reporting using approved systems.
  • Maintain compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Meet and comply with credentialing requirements of healthcare providers and facilities.
  • Participate in additional ad-hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • BS or BA with GPA > 3.0.
  • Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience (preferred).
  • Associate role consideration for candidates not meeting experience requirements.
  • Experience with atypical antipsychotics and/or orphan drugs preferred.
  • Preferred specialty experience in psychiatry, bipolar, depression, CNS, or pain management.
  • Reimbursement experience preferred.
  • Existing relationships with psychiatrists and/or Community Mental Health Centers preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving history.
  • Self-starter, goal- and results-driven with a proven track record.
  • Hunter mentality with ability to compete and build strong territory knowledge.
  • Ability to travel (including overnight) and attend meetings outside normal hours.
  • Residence within territory geography.

Education

  • BS or BA required.

Additional Requirements

  • Must reside within territory geography.
  • Ability to travel locally, regionally, and occasionally overnight; possible out-of-territory travel to HQs and training.
