Primary Responsibilities:
- Execute and promote products per sales strategy in assigned territory.
- Collaborate with the Neuroscience District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and product promotion direction.
- Analyze local market; develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize product use.
- Maintain current product, disease, competitive, and reimbursement knowledge.
- Determine, implement, and monitor optimal resource allocation (budgets, time) in territory.
- Use advanced selling and negotiation skills to communicate persuasively with target audiences.
- Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
- Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems.
- Manage travel and promotional budget.
- Complete monitoring/reporting, including expenses and call reporting using approved systems.
- Maintain full compliance with applicable laws/regulations and company policies.
- Meet industry-standard credentialing requirements.
- Perform additional ad-hoc projects as needed.

Education & Experience Requirements:
- BS/BA (GPA > 3.0).
- 3+ years pharmaceutical sales experience preferred (may consider โ€œAssociateโ€ if not met).
- Atypical antipsychotic and/or orphan drug experience preferred; specialty experience in psychiatry/bipolar/depression/CNS or pain management preferred.
- Reimbursement experience preferred.
- Existing relationships (or within 24 months) with psychiatrists and/or Community Mental Health Centers in territory preferred.
- Valid driverโ€™s license; clean driving history.
- Self-starter with proven results; โ€œhunterโ€ mentality; strong territory knowledge.
- Ability to travel (including overnights); may require out-of-territory travel and occasional after-hours meetings.
- Must reside within territory geography.
