Neuroscience Account Manager (Psychiatry) - Akron, OH

Role: Neuroscience Account Manager responsible for promoting Vanda Pharmaceuticals' specialized CNS therapies, primarily targeting psychiatrist and mental health provider segments. Objectives include exceeding sales goals through strategic product promotion, market analysis, and stakeholder engagement. Responsibilities encompass executing sales strategies, maintaining product and market knowledge, developing advocacy channels, securing reimbursement and access, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with laws and policies. Requirements: BS/BA with >3.0 GPA, minimum 3 years pharmaceutical sales experience preferred; experience in atypical antipsychotics, orphan drugs, or CNS/psychiatry highly desirable; existing relationships with mental health providers advantageous. High-Value: CNS therapeutic area, psychiatry/bipolar/depression, CNS or pain management experience, reimbursement expertise, and established provider relationships. Work setup involves residing within the territory, with travel including overnights and occasional HQ visits; work hours may extend outside standard hours.
