Role Summary
Neuroscience Account Manager who aims to exceed goals by delivering value to customers through differentiated products and services in the psychiatry/ CNS space. Reports to the Neuroscience District Sales Manager.
Responsibilities
- Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
- Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and strategy direction for product promotion.
- Analyze local market, develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize appropriate product use in the territory.
- Maintain current knowledge of product, disease, competitive landscape, and market reimbursement.
- Manage resource allocation (budgets, time, etc.) within the territory.
- Communicate effectively using advanced selling and negotiation skills to identified target audiences.
- Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
- Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
- Manage travel and promotional budget.
- Fulfill monitoring and reporting requirements including expenses and call reporting using approved systems.
- Maintain compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Meet credentialing requirements of healthcare providers and facilities.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Required: BS or BA with GPA > 3.0; valid driverβs license and clean driving history.
- Preferred: minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience; atypical antipsychotic or orphan drug experience; psychiatry/CNS/pain management experience; reimbursement experience; existing relationships with psychiatrists or Community Mental Health Centers within territory.
- Additional: willingness to travel (including overnights); ability to reside within territory; strong self-starting, goal-oriented, hunter mentality; strong territory knowledge; ability to travel to HQs for training as needed.
