Role Summary
The Neuropsych Sales Specialist is a strategic, results-driven professional responsible for significant sales growth and profitability within a defined territory through compliant, ethical solutions. The role requires building and maintaining strong total office relationships, account-based selling, and cross-functional collaboration to meet or exceed performance targets.
Responsibilities
- Build rapport and relationships with regional team members and external contacts at all levels, understanding their needs and responding appropriately
- Provide healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in-servicing of products to current and potential customers
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote products and provide product and patient education
- Strategically manage and grow relationships with key accounts by tailoring solutions to meet their needs and drive sales targets
- Review and analyze sales data to create territory plans and allocate promotional budget funds
- Address external market challenges while working with internal teams to drive cohesive sales strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate diverse expertise and achieve shared objectives
- Maintain call averages as defined in the sales plan with top target healthcare providers
- Apply problem-solving techniques to improve performance in the geographical assignment
- Adhere to all compliance policies and guidelines and achieve sales performance goals and administrative duties
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in related field
- Minimum 1 year of full-time B2B sales experience; pharmaceutical sales strongly preferred
Skills
- Proven record of accomplishments toward meeting objectives in the specific market
- Strong interpersonal, active listening, empathy, communication, and collaboration skills
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Ability to interact with HCPs in person and virtually; proficient with technology
- Knowledge of reimbursement, managed care, or marketing preferred
- New product launch experience and broad therapeutic area experience preferred
- Ability to pass background, motor, and drug screening; valid US driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required (preferred fields related to the role)
