Role Summary

The Neuropsych Sales Specialist is a strategic, results-driven professional responsible for significant sales growth and profitability within a defined territory through compliant, ethical solutions. The role requires building and maintaining strong total office relationships, account-based selling, and cross-functional collaboration to meet or exceed performance targets.

Responsibilities

  • Build rapport and relationships with regional team members and external contacts at all levels, understanding their needs and responding appropriately
  • Provide healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in-servicing of products to current and potential customers
  • Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote products and provide product and patient education
  • Strategically manage and grow relationships with key accounts by tailoring solutions to meet their needs and drive sales targets
  • Review and analyze sales data to create territory plans and allocate promotional budget funds
  • Address external market challenges while working with internal teams to drive cohesive sales strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate diverse expertise and achieve shared objectives
  • Maintain call averages as defined in the sales plan with top target healthcare providers
  • Apply problem-solving techniques to improve performance in the geographical assignment
  • Adhere to all compliance policies and guidelines and achieve sales performance goals and administrative duties

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in related field
  • Minimum 1 year of full-time B2B sales experience; pharmaceutical sales strongly preferred

Skills

  • Proven record of accomplishments toward meeting objectives in the specific market
  • Strong interpersonal, active listening, empathy, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Ability to interact with HCPs in person and virtually; proficient with technology
  • Knowledge of reimbursement, managed care, or marketing preferred
  • New product launch experience and broad therapeutic area experience preferred
  • Ability to pass background, motor, and drug screening; valid US driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required (preferred fields related to the role)

Additional Requirements

  • Travel: Regular travel, including air travel and weekend or overnight travel
