About The Role
- Lead a regional sales team promoting life-changing treatments for neurological, endocrine, and psychiatric disorders.
- Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team to exceed sales goals within an assigned region.
- Manage key projects and collaborate with commercial cross-functional teams.
- Provide strategic direction, field coaching, and develop specialty pharmacy fulfillment access strategies.
- Build strong relationships with internal/external stakeholders; execute effective sales meetings.
Your Contributions
- Leadership & Talent Management: recruit/develop/retain talent; provide performance coaching; support onboarding.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: implement sales strategies; develop targeted psychiatric/neurological market strategies; identify regional opportunities; foster best practices.
- Performance Management: analyze sales data/market trends; hold team accountable; observe/coach account specialists; provide regular feedback and development.
- Business Operations: manage regional budgets/expenses; ensure compliance with company policies and FDA/industry standards; maintain communication between field and HQ.
- Stakeholder Engagement: build relationships with KOLs/healthcare professionals; engage advocacy groups; coordinate with pharmacies and payers to optimize market access.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: align with marketing, training, sales operations, and other departments.
Requirements
- BS/BA + 8+ years biotech/pharma sales, including 3+ years first-line sales management (or MS + 6+ years, or PhD + 4+ years).
- Excellent analytical/problem-solving; intellectual curiosity; lead through ambiguity.
- Strong leadership, communication, and technical/computer skills; manage multiple projects.
- Ethical standards; strong healthcare regulatory understanding; proven sales performance and complex launch experience.
- Strong sales/business acumen; entrepreneurial mindset.
