About The Role
- Responsible for a specific geographic territory and the successful promotion and growth of Neurocrine products.
- Manage and develop long-term relationships with physicians and other customers for targeted accounts; represent Neurocrine brand(s) and approved indications.
- Educate external customers (physicians, nurses, medical assistants, case managers, etc.) on product benefits.
Your Contributions
- Sales and Market Development: Drive product acceptance and growth via targeted education and strategic account management; execute territory sales strategies (in-person and virtual); identify and address territory opportunities/barriers; manage promotional resources and budget.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build/maintain relationships with healthcare providers (Psychiatrists, Neurologists, NPs, PAs), clinical staff (RNs, LPNs, PharmDs), key opinion leaders/advocacy groups, community mental health clinics/LTC facilities, and local/regional payers and pharmacies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Communicate with managed care, Marketing, Patient Access, Medical Science Liaisons, and medical communications teams.
- Professional Standards: Uphold ethical standards, including FDA guidelines and industry best practices; demonstrate integrity and compliance.
- Work Expectations: Maintain full field presence Monday–Friday; flexibility for occasional evening/weekend events; other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- BS/BA in science or related field AND 4+ years commercial pharma/biotech or related experience (3+ years specialty pharma or LTC, Psychology, or Neurology sales preferred). Close-door/specialty pharmacy distribution preferred; psychiatry/neurology/antipsychotic experience strongly preferred.
- OR Master’s in science or related field AND 2+ years similar experience.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulatory environments; proven sales objective/launch success; ability to improve tools/processes; leadership and cross-functional teamwork.
- Proficiency with business systems and sales platforms (e.g., Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP, Veeva) and strong project management.
- Excellent verbal/written communication; strong account management; ability to navigate complex accounts and understand specialty fulfillment/payer requirements.
- Must reside within the assigned territory; valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Benefits (as stated)
- Base salary: $123,100.00–$168,000.00; quarterly incentive plan; equity-based long-term incentive program; retirement plan match; paid vacation/holidays/personal days; paid caregiver/parental and medical leave; medical/prescription/dental/vision coverage.
