Role: Field Sales Representative responsible for promoting Neurocrine Biosciences' neurological and psychiatric treatments within a designated geographic territory. Primary objectives include driving product acceptance, expanding market share, and educating healthcare professionals on product benefits. Responsibilities encompass strategic account management, executing sales strategies via in-person and virtual engagements, and building long-term relationships with physicians, clinical staff, payers, and advocacy groups. The role also involves cross-functional collaboration with marketing, medical science, and patient access teams, while adhering to high ethical and regulatory standards. Requirements include a BS/BA in science with at least 4 years of pharma/biotech sales experience, ideally within neurology, psychiatry, or specialty pharmacy, with familiarity with CRM platforms like Salesforce. Preferred candidates possess experience in specialty pharmaceuticals, with strong understanding of healthcare regulation, complex account management, and proven sales success. Technical proficiency in business systems and BI tools, along with excellent communication and relationship-building skills, are essential. The position demands an entrepreneurial, results-oriented mindset, adaptability, and a valid driver’s license for frequent travel within the territory. Located in the field, with the expectation of regular travel, typically Monday through Friday.
