About The Role
- Responsible for a specific geographic territory and the promotion and growth of Neurocrine products.
- Manage and develop long-term relationships with physicians and other customers for targeted accounts; represent Neurocrine brand(s) and approved indications.
- Educate external customers (physicians, nurses, medical assistants, case managers, etc.) on product benefits.
Your Contributions
- Sales & Market Development: drive product acceptance and growth via targeted education and strategic account management; execute territory sales strategies (in-person/virtual) to meet/exceed objectives; identify and address territory opportunities/barriers; manage promotional resources/budget.
- Customer Relationship Management: build/maintain relationships with healthcare providers (psychiatrists, neurologists, NPs/PAs), clinical staff (RNs, LPNs, PharmDs), key opinion leaders/advocacy groups, community mental health clinics/LTC facilities, and local/regional payers/pharmacies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: communicate with managed care, Marketing, Patient Access, Medical Science Liaisons, and medical communications.
- Professional Standards: uphold ethical standards and FDA/pharma best practices; model company values and compliance.
- Work Expectations: full field presence MonโFri; flexibility for occasional evening/weekend events; other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- BS/BA in science/related field + 4+ years commercial pharma/biotech experience (3+ years specialty pharma/LTC, Psychology, or Neurology sales highly desired). Close-door/specialty pharmacy distribution strongly preferred. Psychiatry/neurology/antipsychotic experience strongly preferred.
- OR Masterโs in science/related field + 2+ years similar experience.
- Strong healthcare regulatory knowledge; proven sales/launch success; business systems/automation & BI tools (Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP, Veeva, etc.); project management; strong communication; results-oriented, ethical, adaptable.
- Reside in assigned territory geography; valid driverโs license and clean driving record (frequent driving).
Benefits/Compensation (as stated)
- Annual base salary: $123,100โ$168,000; quarterly incentive plan eligibility; equity long-term incentive eligibility.
