Role Summary

Neurology District Sales Manager - West District

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree; Advanced degree a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of specialty sales representatives in the neurology/CNS space.
  • Recruit, retain, and coach sales personnel; demonstrate strong leadership track record.
  • Manage local, regional, and occasional overnight travel as required; maintain positive relationships with healthcare providers and facilities; secure and maintain credentialing as needed.
  • Operate effectively in an innovative work environment; navigate small company/start-up dynamics.
  • Travel up to 75% to cover the district and meet business objectives.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in the pharmaceuticals industry with 4 years of Sales Management preferred.
  • Specialty experience preferred: CNS, neurology, pain management; experience selling in the MS market desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain and develop high performing team of specialty sales representatives.
  • Documented high performance of sales and leadership track record.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driverβ€šΓ„Γ΄s license and an acceptable driving record.

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills; ability to build and sustain positive relationships.
  • Strong analytical and business acumen; highly clinical and patient-centric approach.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education

  • Additional degree or advanced certifications are a plus.

Additional Requirements

  • Must reside near a major airport within the district.
  • Ability to maintain effectiveness and flexibility in an innovative work environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.
