Role Summary

Neurology District Sales Manager – West District. Leads and develops a specialty sales team within the neurology/CNS space, driving performance and ensuring compliance with industry standards while managing travel across the district.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, retain and develop a high-performing team of specialty sales representatives.
  • Demonstrate a high performance in sales and leadership with a track record of achieving above-average results.
  • Lead and mentor the team, providing coaching and development to achieve goals.
  • Maintain strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication; manage relationships with healthcare providers and facilities.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree; advanced degree a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with 4 years of sales management experience preferred.
  • Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS, neurology, pain management; MS market experience desirable.
  • Required: Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; ability to travel locally, regionally, and up to 75% (occasional overnight travel).
  • Required: Ability to secure and maintain credentialing requirements for healthcare providers and facilities; strong relationship-building skills.
  • Required: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication; high analytical ability and business acumen.
  • Required: Residence near a major airport within the district; adaptability to innovative work environment.
  • Preferred: Experience in small company/start-up environments.

Skills

  • Excellent people management and supervisory skills; ability to develop, coach, lead and mentor specialty sales representatives.
  • Clinical, patient-centric mindset with tactical selling and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities; quick situational assessment and problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree; advanced degree a plus.
