Role Summary

Neurology District Sales Manager for the West District, leading a specialty sales team in CNS/neurology and related therapeutic areas. Responsible for recruiting, developing, and coaching high-performing representatives, building and maintaining relationships with healthcare providers, and driving district sales performance while ensuring credentialing and regulatory requirements. Travel may be required to support local and regional activities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a district-based team of specialty sales representatives; recruit, retain and coach to high performance.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with healthcare providers, customer facilities, and state/local authorities; ensure credentialing requirements are met.
  • Execute district sales strategy for CNS/neurology/pain management products; monitor performance and drive results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support district initiatives and ensure compliant field activities.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree; Advanced degree a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceuticals industry with 4 years of Sales Management preferred.
  • Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS, neurology, pain management; MS market experience desirable.
  • Required: Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain and develop high performing team of specialty sales representatives.
  • Required: Documented high performance of sales and leadership track record.
  • Required: Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record, and be able to operate a motor vehicle as required for local, regional, and occasional overnight travel.
  • Required: Ability to secure and maintain credentialing requirements of healthcare providers, customer facilities, and state/local governments.
  • Required: Ability to build and sustain positive relationships.
  • Required: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
  • Required: Demonstrate strong analytical and business acumen.
  • Required: Must reside near a major airport within the district.
  • Required: Ability to maintain effectiveness and flexibility in an innovative work environment; experience in small company and start-up work environments.

Additional Requirements

  • Travel up to 75%.
