Role Summary

Neurology District Sales Manager β€šΓ„Γ¬ West District.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a specialty sales team, focusing on CNS/neurology and related therapeutic areas.
  • Recruit, retain, and develop high-performing district-level sales representatives; drive sales performance and leadership development.
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with healthcare providers, facilities, and stakeholders; ensure effective credentialing and compliance across state/local governments.
  • Travel locally, regionally, and up to 75% as required; reside near a major airport within the district.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and business acumen; utilize strong interpersonal and communication skills to effect sales outcomes.
  • Operate in an innovative work environment with flexibility and adaptability; leverage clinical knowledge to support patients and customers.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree; advanced degree a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with 4 years of Sales Management experience preferred.
  • Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS, neurology, pain management; MS market experience desirable.
  • Required: Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain high-performing specialty sales teams; documented high performance in sales and leadership roles.
  • Required: Valid driverβ€šΓ„Γ΄s license with acceptable driving record; ability to travel as needed.
  • Required: Ability to meet credentialing requirements for healthcare providers and facilities; strong relationship-building skills.
  • Required: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication; analytical and business acumen.
  • Required: Reside near major airport within the district; capable of working independently in an innovative environment; experience in small company/start-up settings.
  • Required: Travel up to 75%.

Skills

  • Leadership and people management; coaching and mentoring of specialty sales representatives.
  • Clinical, patient-centric approach with strong presentation and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; strong organizational skills and multi-tasking.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree; advanced degree a plus.
