Role Summary

Neurology District Sales Manager - West District

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a high-performing team of specialty sales representatives in the neurology/CNS/pain management space.
  • Recruit, retain, and develop sales talent; demonstrate leadership with a track record of high performance.
  • Travel locally, regionally, and occasionally overnight up to 75% as required.
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with healthcare providers, facilities, and stakeholders; ensure credentialing requirements are met.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and business acumen; deliver above-average results and meet goals and milestones.
  • Lead and mentor the team with excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree; Advanced degree a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceuticals industry with 4 years of Sales Management experience preferred.
  • Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS, neurology, pain management; MS market experience desirable; ability to recruit and develop sales teams.
  • Required: Valid driverβ€šΓ„Γ΄s license with acceptable driving record; able to operate a motor vehicle for local/region/overnight travel.
  • Required: Ability to secure and maintain credentialing requirements of healthcare providers, facilities, and governments.
  • Required: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills; ability to build relationships; effective communication.
  • Required: Ability to travel up to 75% and reside near a major airport within the district.
  • Required: Ability to work in an innovative environment; experience in small company/start-up settings.

Skills

  • Excellent people management and coaching abilities for specialty sales representatives.
  • Strong clinical understanding, patient-centric approach, and tactical selling skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; strong analytical and business acumen.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree; Advanced degree a plus.
