Role Summary

Neurology District Sales Manager - Southeast District

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of specialty sales representatives in the neurology/CNS space.
  • Recruit, retain, and nurture talent; demonstrate a track record of sales leadership and performance.
  • Manage regional operations requiring local, regional, and occasional overnight travel; maintain valid driverβ€šΓ„Γ΄s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with healthcare providers, facilities, and stakeholders; ensure credentialing requirements are secured and maintained.
  • Utilize strong analytical and business acumen to drive results and strategic execution.
  • Operate effectively in innovative, small company or start-up environments; adapt to evolving work conditions.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree; advanced degree a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with 4 years of Sales Management experience preferred.
  • Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS, neurology, pain management; MS market experience desirable.
  • Required: Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing specialty sales team; documented high performance in sales and leadership.
  • Required: Ability to secure and maintain credentialing for healthcare providers, facilities, and government entities.
  • Required: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills; ability to build and sustain positive relationships.
  • Required: Travel up to 75%.
  • Required: Reside near a major airport within the district.
  • Required: Ability to read situations quickly, manage roadblocks, and demonstrate strong organizational skills.

Skills

  • Excellent people management and coaching abilities; leadership and mentorship of specialty sales representatives.
  • Clinical, patient-centric, and tactical with strong communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, written).
  • Self-motivated, independent decision-making; dynamic and high-impact selling/presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical capabilities; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree; advanced degree a plus.
