Role Summary

Neurology District Sales Manager - Southeast District

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing specialty sales team focused on CNS/neurology and related therapeutic areas.
  • Recruit, retain, and coach specialty sales representatives; drive performance and accountability.
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with healthcare providers, facilities, and local/regional stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and business acumen to guide strategy and execution.
  • Collaborate in an innovative work environment and adapt to changing conditions; travel as required (up to 75%).

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree; advanced degree a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with 4 years of sales management preferred.
  • Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS, neurology, pain management; MS market experience desirable.
  • Required: Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain and develop high-performing specialty sales teams; documented sales and leadership success.
  • Required: Valid driverβ€šΓ„Γ΄s license and acceptable driving record; ability to travel locally, regionally, and occasionally overnight.
  • Required: Ability to secure and maintain credentialing for healthcare providers, facilities, and government entities.
  • Required: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to build relationships.
  • Required: Strong analytical ability and business acumen; comfortable in small company/start-up environments.
  • Required: Residence near a major airport within the district.

Skills

  • Leadership and people management; coaching and mentoring specialty sales representatives.
  • Clinical mindset with patient-centric and tactical approach; effective selling and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree; Advanced degree a plus.
