Role Summary

Neurology District Sales Manager - Northeast District

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a district-level specialty sales team focused on neurology/CNS products.
  • Recruit, retain, and coach high-performing sales representatives; demonstrate strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with healthcare providers, facilities, and stakeholders; ensure credentialing requirements are secured.
  • Operate effectively in an innovative, dynamic environment and adapt to changes; manage multiple priorities and travel as required.
  • Drive goals and achieve above-average results; utilize strong analytical and business acumen to inform strategy.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree; advanced degree a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with 4 years of sales management preferred.
  • Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS, neurology, or pain management; MS market experience desirable.
  • Required: Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; ability to travel locally, regionally, and up to 75% as needed.
  • Required: Ability to secure and maintain credentialing for healthcare providers and facilities; strong relationship-building skills.
  • Required: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; strong analytical and business acumen.
  • Required: Ability to reside near a major airport within the district.
  • Preferred: Experience in small company and startup environments; ability to work in an innovative setting.

Skills

  • Excellent people management and supervisory skills; ability to develop and coach specialty sales reps; leadership and mentorship.
  • Clinical focus with patient-centric and tactical approach; effective selling and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities; quick situational judgment.
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree; advanced degree a plus.
