Role Summary

Neurology District Sales Manager - Mid-Atlantic District. Leaders a specialty sales team focusing on CNS/neurology products, driving performance and building strong relationships with healthcare providers within the district.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, retain and develop a high-performing team of specialty sales representatives.
  • Lead and coach the district sales team to achieve above-average results with strong clinical and patient-centric focus.
  • Manage relationships with healthcare providers, facilities, and state/local governments to secure credentialing and maintain compliance.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and business acumen; develop and implement district strategies to optimize performance.
  • Travel up to 75% as required to cover local, regional, and overnight assignments.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree; Advanced degree a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with 4 years of Sales Management preferred.
  • Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS, neurology, pain management; MS market experience desirable.
  • Required: Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain and develop high-performing specialty sales teams.
  • Required: Documented high performance of sales and leadership track record.
  • Required: Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and ability to travel as needed.
  • Required: Ability to secure and maintain credentialing requirements for healthcare providers and facilities.
  • Required: Ability to build and sustain positive relationships; strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
  • Required: Strong analytical abilities and business acumen; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Required: Must reside near a major airport within the district.
  • Required: Ability to maintain effectiveness in an innovative work environment; experience in small company/start-up environments.
