Role Summary

Neurology District Sales Manager - Mid-Atlantic District. Lead and develop a specialty sales team focused on CNS/neurology products within the district, driving performance and market access while ensuring compliance and strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing team of specialty sales representatives.
  • Lead and mentor the district team to achieve sales targets and strategic objectives.
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with healthcare providers, facilities, and key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and business acumen to inform sales strategy and execution.
  • Manage travel and field activities in alignment with district goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure credentialing requirements for healthcare providers and facilities are obtained and maintained.
  • Navigate an innovative work environment while maintaining effectiveness and flexibility.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree; Advanced degree a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with 4 years of sales management preferred.
  • Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS, neurology, pain management; experience selling in the MS market is desirable.
  • Required: Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing team of specialty sales representatives.
  • Required: Documented high performance in sales and leadership roles.
  • Required: Valid driverβ€šΓ„Γ΄s license with acceptable driving record; ability to travel locally, regionally, and occasionally overnight (up to 75%).
  • Required: Ability to secure and maintain credentialing for healthcare providers, facilities, and government entities.
  • Required: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills; ability to build and sustain relationships.
  • Required: Ability to work effectively in an innovative environment; experience in small company/start-up settings is a plus.

Skills

  • Excellent people management and supervisory capabilities; ability to develop and coach specialty sales representatives.
  • Strong clinical, patient-centric, and tactical selling skills with effective communication (interpersonal, verbal, written).
  • Self-motivated, with strong work ethic and ability to make sound decisions independently.
  • Dynamic, high-impact presenter with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to read situations quickly and adjust strategies to overcome obstacles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree; Advanced degree a plus.

Additional Requirements

  • Must reside near a major airport within the district.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% and maintain flexibility in travel schedules.
