Role Summary

Neurology District Sales Manager - Central District

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, retain and develop high performing team of specialty sales representatives.
  • Operate as a district leader with responsibility for sales performance and leadership development.
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with healthcare providers, facilities, and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and business acumen; manage multiple priorities and adapt in an innovative work environment.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree; advanced degree a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with 4 years of sales management preferred.
  • Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS, neurology, pain management, or related areas; MS market experience desirable.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record; ability to travel locally, regionally, and up to 75% for overnight travel.
  • Ability to secure and maintain credentialing requirements for healthcare providers and facilities.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to build relationships.
  • Demonstrated high performance in sales and leadership; track record of recruiting and developing teams.
  • Must reside near a major airport within the district.
  • Experience in small company and start-up environments; ability to adapt and be flexible.

Skills

  • Excellent people management and coaching abilities; leadership and mentorship capabilities.
  • Clinical, patient-centric, and tactical with strong selling and presentation skills.
  • Outstanding work ethic; self-motivated and capable of independent decision-making.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degree preferred.
