Role Summary

Neurology Account Specialist (NAS) to support the launch of a medication for MCI and Alzheimer’s Disease. Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with neurologists and allied health professionals, increasing screening, supporting referrals, and executing sales plans for the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain clinical expertise to educate healthcare professionals on clinical evidence, indications, and product efficacy/safety to support on-label prescribing.
  • Educate HCPs on infusion and diagnostic pathways, infusion processes, and related safety considerations.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to aid hospitals in formulary decisions and engaging with P&T committees.
  • Develop and execute business plans to meet/exceed brand goals; manage opportunities and challenges with HCPs in the territory.
  • Engage hospital systems and IDNs to establish a strong organizational presence; develop and execute strategic key-account plans.
  • Provide account- and patient-focused solutions, connecting the right solution to the right stakeholder.
  • Function independently with a high degree of sales proficiency to meet forecasts and budgets.
  • Complete all required training related to product and disease states.

Qualifications

  • Education: BS/BA required; MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of sales experience, with at least two of the following areas: infusion, diagnostic, biologic, medical device, buy and bill, rare disease, specialty pharmacy, or neurology. Neurology and infused product experience preferred. Co-promotion and launch experience preferred.
  • Experience with alliance partnerships preferred.
  • Understanding of healthcare delivery systems, buy & bill, specialty pharmacy, distribution models, and/or biologics/medical devices strongly preferred.
  • History of success in Account Management/Group Practice/GPO roles preferred.
  • Additional commercial experience (sales training, marketing, managed markets, analytics) a plus.
  • Commitment to compliance with company policies, laws, and industry standards.
  • Must have valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; territory residency required.

  • Strong communication of complex clinical information to HCPs and stakeholders.
  • Relationship-building and strategic account management in healthcare environments.
  • Analytical and planning capabilities to develop and execute business plans.
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage hospital/P&T processes.
  • Knowledge of infusion centers, anti-amyloid treatments, and institutional processes.

Education

  • BS/BA required; MBA preferred.
