Role Summary

We are seeking an Associate Neurology Account Manager or Neurology Account Manager to join a dynamic sales organization. The role reports to the Neuroscience District Sales Manager and aims to exceed established goals by delivering value to customers through differentiated products and services in the Upstate NY/Buffalo territory.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with the District Sales Manager to respond to day-to-day sales and strategy direction related to product promotion activities.
  • Analyze local market, develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize appropriate use of the product in the defined territory.
  • Maintain current knowledge of product, disease, competitive landscape, and market reimbursement.
  • Determine, implement, and monitor optimal resource allocation within the territory (budgets, time, etc.).
  • Communicate effectively using advanced selling and negotiation skills to identified target audiences.
  • Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
  • Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
  • Manage travel and promotional budget.
  • Fulfill monitoring and reporting requirements including expenses and call reporting using approved systems and processes.
  • Maintain compliance with all laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Meet and comply with credentialing requirements of healthcare providers, customer facilities, and state/local governments as a condition of employment.
  • Complete additional ad-hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Required: BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0; Valid driverโ€šร„รดs license and a clean driving history.
  • Required: Self-starter, goal- and results-driven with a proven track record of above-average results.
  • Required: Fortitude to sell and compete with a hunter mentality.
  • Preferred: Strong relationships and knowledge of the territory.
  • Required: Ability to travel (may include overnights); some travel to HQs, training, and meetings; may require hours outside normal working hours; must reside within the territory.

  • Valid driverโ€šร„รดs license and acceptable driving record for local, regional, and occasional overnight travel.

Education

  • BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0.
