Role Summary

Neurology Account Manager in San Francisco, CA. Responsible for exceeding sales goals by delivering value to customers through differentiated products and services within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and strategy direction related to product promotion activities.
  • Analyze local market, develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize appropriate use of the product in the defined territory.
  • Maintain current knowledge of product, disease, competitive landscape, and market reimbursement.
  • Determine and monitor optimal resource allocation (budgets, time, etc.) within the territory.
  • Communicate effectively using advanced selling and negotiation skills to identified target audiences.
  • Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
  • Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
  • Manage travel and promotional budget.
  • Fulfill monitoring and reporting requirements including expenses and call reporting using approved systems.
  • Maintain compliance with all laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Meet and comply with credentialing requirements of healthcare providers, facilities, and governing bodies.
  • Complete ad-hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and a clean driving history.
  • Self-starter with goal- and results-driven mindset and a proven track record of above-average results.
  • Fortitude to sell, with a hunter mentality.
  • Strong relationships and knowledge of the territory preferred.
  • Ability to travel (may include overnight).
  • Willingness for out-of-territory travel to HQs, training, and sales meetings.
  • Flexible work hours, including meetings outside normal hours.
  • Residence within the territory geography.

Skills

  • Clinical, patient-centric and tactical approach with excellent communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, written).
  • Ability to navigate complex markets and organizations.
  • Strong work ethic, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective selling and presentation skills; self-motivated and customer-focused.
  • Proficient with computers and relevant sales tools.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and acceptable driving record for local, regional, and occasional overnight travel.

Education

  • BS or BA with GPA > 3.0.
