Role Summary

The Neurology Account Manager role (Associate or full Neurology Account Manager) is a field-facing sales position focused on driving product adoption and exceeding territory goals. The role reports to the Neuroscience District Sales Manager and involves delivering differentiated value to customers through products and services, maintaining current knowledge of products, diseases, and market reimbursement, and ensuring product access and appropriate use within the territory.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with the District Sales Manager to respond to day-to-day sales and strategy direction related to product promotion activities.
  • Analyze local market, develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize appropriate use of the product in the territory.
  • Maintain a high level of product, disease, competitive, and market reimbursement knowledge.
  • Determine, implement, and monitor resource allocation within the territory (budgets, time, etc.).
  • Communicate effectively using advanced selling and negotiation skills to identified target audiences.
  • Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
  • Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
  • Manage travel and promotional budget.
  • Fulfill monitoring and reporting requirements including expenses and call reporting using approved systems and processes.
  • Maintain compliance with all laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Meet and comply with credentialing requirements of healthcare providers, customer facilities, and state/local governments.
  • Additional ad-hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Required: BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0.
  • Required: Valid driverβ€šΓ„Γ΄s license and a clean driving history.
  • Required: Self-starter, goal- and results-driven with a proven track record of above-average results.
  • Required: Fortitude to sell and compete; hunter mentality.
  • Required: Ability to travel (may include overnights); travel to HQs, training, and sales meetings may be required.
  • Required: Must reside within territory geography.
  • Preferred: Strong relationships and knowledge of the territory.

Education
