Role Summary

Neurology Account Manager in the Carolinas for a specialty pharmaceutical company. The role involves joining a high-performance sales team to exceed goals by delivering value through differentiated products and services, reporting to the Neuroscience District Sales Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with the District Sales Manager to respond to day-to-day sales and strategy direction related to product promotion activities.
  • Analyze local market, develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize appropriate product use in the territory.
  • Maintain current knowledge of product, disease, competition, and market reimbursement.
  • Determine and monitor optimal resource allocation within the territory.
  • Communicate effectively using advanced selling and negotiation skills to identified audiences.
  • Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
  • Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
  • Manage travel and promotional budgets.
  • Complete monitoring and reporting requirements including expenses and call reporting using approved systems.
  • Maintain compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Adhere to credentialing requirements of healthcare providers and facilities.
  • Perform additional ad-hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Required: BS or BA with GPA > 3.0; Valid driverβ€šΓ„Γ΄s license and clean driving history; self-starter with proven results; hunter mentality; strong territory knowledge (preferred); ability to travel including overnights; willingness for out-of-territory travel to HQs, training, and meetings; willingness to work outside normal hours; reside within territory.
  • Preferred: Strong relationships and knowledge of the territory; ability to travel as needed.
