Responsibilities:
- Own and manage a portfolio of ~10–12 academic medical centers (AMCs) and neuromuscular specialty centers; serve as institutional commercial lead.
- Develop and execute institution account plans (formulary strategy, stakeholder mapping, competitive positioning, patient access pathways).
- Navigate institutional buying environments (P&T committees, pharmacy contracting, hospital administration, infusion center operations).
- Build and maintain relationships with neurology department heads, treating neurologists, clinical pharmacists, infusion nurses, and medical directors.
- Lead formulary/pathway submissions and P&T presentations to achieve preferred/unrestricted formulary status.
- Partner with Market Access and Payer Account Directors to align contracting and remove prior authorization barriers.
- Coordinate with specialty pharmacy partners and Patient Services hub to support buy-and-bill reimbursement workflows.
- Track formulary status, pull-through metrics, and access barriers; escalate systemic issues with data-driven recommendations.
- Identify and maintain neuromuscular KOL relationships (in coordination with Medical Affairs).
- Represent at neurology congresses and institutional events as appropriate.
- Maintain CRM and account intelligence; use IQVIA/Symphony Health data for targeting and measurement.
- Track/report KPIs; present quarterly business reviews; support territory realignment and Year 2 expansion planning.

Qualifications (required):
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 10–12+ years institutional sales/market access/account management in pharma/biotech.
- Demonstrated experience with hospital/AMC formulary processes, P&T engagement, and buy-and-bill contracting.
- Track record in rare disease/neurology/specialty biologics sales/account management (ideally launch experience).
- Strong clinical acumen.
- Experience executing institutional competitive switch/conversion.
- Proficiency with CRM and analytics (IQVIA, Symphony Health, specialty pharmacy data).
- Ability to manage complex multi-stakeholder accounts independently.
- Ability to travel 60–70% within assigned territory; candidates must reside within the territory.

Preferred:
- PharmD, RN, or advanced life sciences degree.
- Complement biology/neuromuscular disease/C5-FcRn inhibitor market experience.
- Existing neurology KOL or MGFA center-of-excellence relationships.
- Experience with infusion biologic launches.
- Specialty pharmacy hub, patient assistance, prior authorization, and Part B reimbursement/ASP/buy-and-bill knowledge.
