Role: The Neurology Account Director (NAD) is a field-based position responsible for launching and managing the commercial performance of Regeneron's C5 inhibitor for generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG) across approximately 10-12 academic medical centers and neuromuscular specialty centers in the Mountain West region. Objectives include securing formulary access, facilitating infusion center education, building institutional partnerships, and driving patient access and revenue. Responsibilities encompass developing account plans, navigating institutional buying processes, managing stakeholder relationships (neurologists, pharmacists, administrators), leading formulary and pathway submissions, coordinating with market access and specialty pharmacies, tracking KPIs, and engaging with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). The role demands deep clinical and neuromuscular disease expertise, strategic account management, and cross-functional collaboration. Qualifications include a bachelor's degree (preferably PharmD, RN, or advanced life sciences degree), 10-12+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech institutional sales or market access, with experience in neurology, rare diseases, or biologics. Preferred skills involve familiarity with complement biology, neuromuscular markets, infusion biologics, and reimbursement workflows. The role requires up to 60-70% travel, extensive stakeholder engagement, and residency within the territory. Core competencies include clinical credibility, institutional navigation, strategic planning, relationship building, and results orientation. High-value biopharma specifics involve neuromuscular indications, biologic modalities, hospital/AMCs, formulary processes, and buy-and-bill economics. The work is remote with significant travel within the specified region.
