The Neurology Account Director (NAD) is a field-based institutional key account role responsible for driving the launch and ongoing commercial performance of Regeneron’s C5 inhibitor for generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG) across ~10–12 assigned academic medical centers (AMCs), infusion centers, and neuromuscular specialty centers.

Responsibilities
- Own/manage a portfolio of ~10–12 AMCs and neuromuscular specialty centers as institutional commercial lead.
- Develop and execute account plans (formulary strategy, stakeholder mapping, competitive positioning, patient access pathways).
- Navigate P&T committees, pharmacy contracting, hospital administration, and infusion center operations.
- Build and maintain relationships with neurology department heads, treating neurologists, clinical pharmacists, infusion nurses, and medical directors.
- Lead formulary and pathway submissions and P&T presentations for preferred/unrestricted status.
- Partner with Market Access National and Payer Account Directors; address prior authorization barriers.
- Coordinate with specialty pharmacy partners and Patient Services hub for reimbursement workflows (buy-and-bill).
- Track formulary status, pull-through metrics, and access barriers; escalate systemic issues with recommendations.
- Identify/develop KOL relationships in neuromuscular medicine (with Medical Affairs).
- Represent at AAN, MGFA, medical education events, and grand rounds as appropriate.
- Maintain CRM/account intelligence using IQVIA/Symphony Health; report KPIs and quarterly business reviews.
- Contribute to territory realignment and Year 2 expansion planning.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; PharmD, RN, or advanced life sciences degree strongly preferred.
- 10–12+ years institutional sales/market access/account management in pharma/biotech.
- Experience with hospital/AMC formulary processes, P&T engagement, and buy-and-bill contracting.
- Success in rare disease/neurology/specialty biologics sales/account management; launch experience preferred.
- Strong clinical acumen and ability to lead scientifically rigorous stakeholder conversations.
- Experience executing institutional competitive switch/conversion strategies.
- Proficiency with CRM and analytics platforms (IQVIA, Symphony Health, specialty pharmacy data).
- Ability to manage complex multi-stakeholder relationships independently.
- Travel 60–70% within assigned territory; must reside within territory.

Preferred
- Complement biology/neuromuscular disease/C5-FcRn inhibitor market experience.
- Existing neurology KOL or MGFA center-of-excellence relationships.
- Infusion biologic launch experience in hospital/outpatient settings.
- Specialty pharmacy hub, patient assistance programs, prior authorization workflows knowledge.
- Understanding of medical benefit (Part B) reimbursement, ASP pricing, and buy-and-bill economics.

Salary Range (annually)
- $183,100.00 – $305,200.00
