Role Summary
Neuro Sales Representative – Carolinas | East. Responsible for meeting or exceeding sales in assigned geographies in an ethical and compliant manner, understanding customer needs, coordinating resources, and supporting pull-through activities to improve patient outcomes in neuroscience.
Responsibilities
- Following compliance guidelines, drives sales performance to meet or exceed forecasts within the territory by calling on healthcare professionals and mental health centers, in-person and virtually.
- Use budgets to achieve territory objectives; customize discussions and client interactions based on customer needs in a compliant and ethical manner.
- Maintain understanding of local market, practice structures, evolving customers, and key influencers; share information with internal stakeholders.
- Provide input into resource allocation; identify and select programs/resources appropriate for each customer, practice, and/or system.
- Collaborate with Regional Business Manager to develop a local business plan; capitalize on formulary approvals through strategic plan implementation.
- Collaborate with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists on objectives and best practices.
- Provide timely administrative management of work hours, sales data, customer objectives, communications, synchronization, samples, and expense reporting.
- Build a business plan based on customer needs, resources, and products; complete all required training within timelines.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of sales experience in pharmaceuticals, biologics, or medical device sales required; 3+ years in specialty pharmaceuticals preferred.
- Launch, antipsychotic, and/or bipolar sales experience highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
- Strong desire to improve lives of patients and caregivers; patient-centric approach.
- High integrity and compliance with company policies.
- Self-motivation, initiative, entrepreneurial spirit, strong decision-making, collaboration and cross-functional skills.
- Ability to adapt to evolving environments and telemedicine/virtual settings.
- Ability to analyze data to assess progress and identify opportunities; experience with establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information to diverse audiences.
- Work hours may extend beyond normal hours; some overnight travel may be required; periodic travel to HQ, training, and meetings.
