National Clinical Trial Liaison Lead

Role: National Director, Clinical Trial Liaison Team, leading US field-based medical engagement to accelerate clinical trial progress and support AstraZeneca's Ambition 2030. Responsibilities: develop and execute the national CTL strategy, oversee team performance, and drive engagement with investigators, research sites, and healthcare professionals; translate insights into strategic actions; foster cross-functional partnerships across Medical Affairs, R&D, and Clinical Operations; ensure executional excellence and compliance. Requirements: Master's degree (PhD, PharmD, MD preferred); 10+ years in Medical Affairs, clinical research, or related fields with leadership experience; strong background in clinical trial site engagement, investigator interactions, and study logistics; experience with AI tools in patient recruitment; excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills; ability to travel 30-40%. Preferred: expertise in Immunology, Cardiovascular, or Metabolic therapeutic areas; previous national/regional Medical Affairs leadership; experience in pharmaceutical research and external stakeholder engagement; entrepreneurial mindset and passion for innovation. Work Setup: field-based US role with significant travel.
